Oleoronda

Oleoronda is the brand name under which the Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils produced at the El Cortijo de Las Fatigas de Ronda plantation are marketed. The estate has been producing oil for over 100 years from our Lechín, Picual, and Hojiblanca varieties, resulting in oils with balanced bitterness and pungency, and intense fruitiness.

Picual Variety

The Picual or Marteño variety comes from dense and vigorous trees that show early ripening with high and easily detachable oil yield. The olive has a pointed shape and is asymmetrical. It presents marked fruity attributes with substantial pungency and bitterness that mellows over time.

Lechín Variety

Lechín olives come from vigorous trees resistant to droughts and mountain cold.
These olives have high resistance to detachment, are asymmetrical, and although they do not have a high oil yield, they do have fruity aroma characteristics with some pungency and bitterness.

Hojiblanca Variety

Hojiblanca olives come from medium-sized trees with medium leaf density and a whitish color. The olives are large and symmetrical with a rounded shape. The oil yield is low, although it has marked organoleptic characteristics in terms of fruitiness, pungency, and bitterness.
