Cortijo de las Fatigas is located on a peneplain in an area known as Puente de la Ventilla. On sedimentary terrain, primarily calcareous and clayey, resulting from the erosion of the nearby Sierra de las Nieves and Sierra de la Blanquilla mountains, centenary olive trees of the Lechín, Hojiblanco, and Picual varieties have been cultivated since the 19th century. These olive varieties, along with the thermal fluctuations of the area and low rainfall, give our olives very peculiar characteristics which, coupled with careful harvesting and production, result in high-quality and distinctive oils.
